As we prepare for State Testing this month, here are some tips to help your child:

.Get plenty of sleep. Ensure that your child is well-rested on testing day by making sure they head to bed early the night before.

.Eliminate screen time before bed, as this can stimulate young brains and make it harder for kids to fall asleep.

.Eat a nutritious breakfast.

.Charge iPads. Students should charge their iPad the night before testing and bring their iPad to school each day.

.Arrive to school on time. The school day begins at 7:30 AM and students should be in their classrooms ready for testing to begin.

.Encourage your child. Be positive and let your child know that you are proud of them no matter how they do on the tests.
